MARINA PORT VALENCIA HAS REINFORCED ITS GOAL OF CREATING A PORT-CITY CONNECTION THROUGH VARIOUS SPORTING EVENTS

This weekend, Marina Port Valencia has been the setting for three sporting events: the 15K Valencia Open to the Sea, the Valencian King of the Cork Tournament, and the Kayak Fishing Valencia 2025 Challenge. Three events that have brought together thousands of participants and spectators around the sea.

These initiatives are perfect for reinforcing the connection between the port and the city, one of the objectives that Marina Port Valencia works towards every day: to make the Valencian coast an active, accessible, and dynamic place, where nautical activities, sporting events, and cultural events that involve citizens and visitors of the city of Valencia can take place.
The 15K Valencia Open to the Sea, already consolidated in the Valencian sporting calendar, brought together more than 8,000 runners who enjoyed a unique route along the coast, starting from the Paseo Marítimo. The race, with its two distances (15K and 7.5K), stood out for its high participation, with attendees from all corners of Spain.

The Valencian King of the Cork Tournament, held in Marina Sur, brought together the 40 best fishermen from the Valencian Community. This is the most important competition in the cork-sea modality, a discipline that is growing rapidly throughout the country and aspires to continue expanding in the coming years.

Another event held in Marina Sur was the Kayak Fishing Valencia 2025 Challenge, which brought together numerous fans of this modality to enjoy a day of kayak fishing in the waters of Marina Port Valencia.

Marina Port Valencia appreciates the participation of Valencians and visitors in these events and values that the organizers have chosen this space as the setting for activities that promote activities in common and where the sea is a meeting point and enjoyment for all.
