MARINA PORT VALENCIA SHOWCASES ITS PROJECT AT MONACO YACHT SHOW

Marina Port Valencia attends Monaco Yacht Show to showcase its project, a huge undertaking to firmly place Valencia on the international yachting scene.
The first phase of works, Marina Norte, is already underway.
Following on from Monaco, Marina Port Valencia will be exhibiting at Barcelona International Boat Show in October.

Between 24 and 27 September, Marina Port Valencia had its own stand to showcase its project at Monaco Yacht Show. This event, which each year attracts key industry players such as designers, shipyards, brokers, captains and owners, was the perfect chance to illustrate this trailblazing project that has already started to take shape in Valencia.

The first phase of the works started in September, involving the redevelopment of the pontoons to make them more modern and sustainable, the construction of two buildings in Marina Norte for offices, commercial units and restaurants, and the introduction of many yachting-related services that didn’t use to exist in Valencia.

The four strategic areas of the project were all presented at MYS:

Four marinas for yachts from 6 to 130 metres LOA; an open refit & repair yard with a capacity of up to 750 tons; a dynamic business quarter with offices, co-working spaces and commercial units for entrepreneurs, companies and restaurants; and a leisure and lifestyle area that will turn the marina into an international destination and a meeting point open to the city.

Following on from Monaco, Marina Port Valencia will also have its own stand at the Barcelona International Boat Show in Port Vell between 8 and 12 October, where it will continue to share its vision of growth, innovation and sustainability, alongside all the new developments that will have taken place by then.

With this plan, Valencia is taking a decisive step towards the future, anchoring itself as a major destination on the global yachting scene.
